CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel rifle team edged out UAB in both the smallbore and air rifle to collect a 4600-4576 win on Saturday. The Bulldogs are 2-1 on the season.  
 
Combined Results

• Charlotte Welsh and James Hart took the top two individual spots with respective 1174 and 1152 aggregates.
• Carson Wood finished next for The Citadel in fifth place at 1141.
• Aiden Malcolm took eighth at 1133.
• Demi Perez placed tenth overall to represent the women's team with a 1118 score.

Smallbore Results

• The Bulldogs outlasted the Blazers 2271-2260.
• Charlotte Welsh won the competition with a 588 score.
• Carson Wood delivered a third-place performance with a 570.
• James Hart took fifth at 563.
• Aiden Malcolm earned ninth at 550.
• Emma McCorkle earned the women's team's highest finish, going 11^th with a 548.

Air Rifle Results

• The Citadel opened the margin of victory slightly more than the smallbore, taking a 2329-2316 win.
• James Hart won the competition with a 589.
• Charlotte Welsh earned second at 586.
• Aiden Malcolm placed fifth at 583.
• Michaela Martin earned sixth place to represent the women's team with a 575.
• Demi Perez took eighth for the women with a 573.
• Carson Wood placed tenth with a 571 score.
