• A 5-1 scoring run from the Bulldogs gave an 18-15 lead over the Spartans.
• Late efforts from the Bulldogs were not enough, as the Spartans ended the set on a service ace.
• Kills from Maddy Cardenas, Makaya Middleton, and Ali Ruffin gave the Bulldogs the early lead in the second set.
• The Spartans regained the lead, but the Bulldogs took advantage of two attack errors and two kills from Cardenas and Middleton to tie the set 14-14.
• Bulldogs committed four errors to open the lead for the Spartans.
• Spartans ended the set on two kills.
• The Citadel opened the third set 3-1 with kills from Bula and Ruffin.
