How it Happened
- Butler got off to a quick start as they were hot from the outside in opening a 17-0 advantage.
- Stephen Clark got The Citadel on the board before Madison Durr, Bailey Conrad and Austin Ash knocked down three-pointers.
- Butler had an answer for every run by The Citadel as BU hit 12 three-pointers in the first half, compared to four for The Citadel.
- The second half was more of the same as The Citadel was unable to get the offense going, shooting just 9-of-31 from the field in the game's final 20 minutes.
