How it Happened
- Ben Haubert got the Dogs off to a good start with a decision victory at 174 pounds. With the match tied 2-2 heading into the third period, Haubert got an escape and then a takedown to secure the victory.
- Patrick Brophy got the Bulldogs on the board at 197 pounds. After a pair of takedowns in the opening period, Brophy did one better as he secured his third takedown just before the buzzer.
- Brophy added another takedown in the third period and added the bonus point for riding time in the major decision victory.
- John Chesser used a big third period to rally for a decision victory at 285 pounds. Chesser started the period with a reversal, then got four near-fall points to secure the 8-2 win.
- After a forfeit victory for Blair Orr at 125 pounds, George Rosas continued the momentum with a major decision victory at 133 pounds.
- Rosas started the second period on top and quickly used it to get four near-fall points. He got an escape and a takedown in the third period, then added the bonus point for riding time for the major decision victory.
- After LIU pulled within six points, Selwyn Porter got the momentum back for the Bulldogs with a decision victory at 157 pounds.
- Porter got an escape to take a two-point lead in the third period, then secured the victory with another takedown in the final seconds.
