CORALVILLE, Iowa – The Citadel will send 14 wrestlers to the inaugural Soldier Salute collegiate wrestling tournament on Dec. 29-30 at the Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa.
The tournament is hosted by the Iowa City Area Sports Commission and will include both a women's and men's division. 100% of the annual tournament proceeds will be split between the United Service Organizations (USO) and a development fund targeted towards the continued growth of high school girls wrestling.

The Citadel improved to 2-0 in duals with a 13-18 road victory at LIU. The Bulldogs picked up six victories, including major-decision victories from Patrick Brophy (197) and George Rosas (133).
Up Next
The Bulldogs return to McAlister Field House for a pair of duals on Jan. 7. The Citadel will face Truett McConnell at 11 a.m. and Keiser at 1 p.m.
