CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel men's tennis team split a pair of matches on Tuesday afternoon, defeating New Jersey City University (NJCU), 5-2, and losing to Campbell, 6-1.

Hayden Shoemake took a No. 1 singles spot victory over Bourghelle. Shoemake dominated the first set, 6-1, then won the match with a 7-5 victory over Bourghelle.
Lucas Robins and Alejandro Ley went into a three-set match in the No. 3 singles spot. Robins handed Ley a 6-1 victory in the first set; Ley fought back to even the match in the second set with a 6-1 win. The third set was forced into a tie break; Robins won the match with a 10-3 tiebreak win over Ley.
