MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Citadel's
Megan Ikeda shot rounds of 75-74 to sit in a tie for ninth place as second-round play was suspended due to darkness at the 2022 Southern Conference Championships at the Barefoot Landing Dye Course in Myrtle Beach.
The original schedule called for just 18 holes to be played on Sunday, but the threat of weather on Monday forced the second round to be played on Sunday. Teams that did not finish their second round on Sunday will return to the course Monday morning to finish.
The Bulldogs shot an opening-round 319, and followed it up with a 335 in the second round. The Citadel, along with Samford and Western Carolina, are the only three teams to complete both rounds on Sunday.
