CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel plays its first home during the month of April as the Bulldogs welcome Charleston Southern to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on April 6. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. The contest is the third meeting between the two teams this season and the second at The Joe. The game will be carries on ESPN+.

Wednesday's game against Charleston Southern marks the 25th Anniversary of the first game played inside Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. That day, the Bulldogs defeated Western Carolina, 6-5, on a Ryan Butler two-run walk-off home run.

Ryan McCarthy homered into the bullpen in right field at Charles Schwab Field Omaha. The long ball was his fifth of the season.
