CHARLESTON, S.C.- The Citadel's Hayden Shoemake's impressive performance was not enough as the Bulldogs dropped their doubleheader matchup against Coastal Carolina, 1-6 and 1-5 on Monday afternoon.

• Shoemake has started off the spring season by winning his first three singles matches.
• Lucas Robins, in the No. 4 singles spot, battled with Neil O'Connor in a three-sets. Robins would take the first match in a tie-breaker, but O'Connor would take the next two.
