COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Citadel track and field teams started the indoor season off to a fantastic start with multiple top-ten finishes, including
Blythe Hehmeyer breaking the school's indoor pole vault record.

Men's Results
- Andrew Smith set a personal record and finished in first place in the morning mile run with a time of 4:15.06. Smith moves into second all-time in program history.
- Ty Duben finished in first place in the 5000m with a personal record of 15:30.60
- Sam Sharnas finished behind Smith in the morning mile, earning second with a personal best of 4:17.17. Sharnas moves into fourth all-time in the program's history.
- Will Ray posted 16:08.02 in the 5000m run, finishing in sixth place.
- Kane Duncan earned two top-ten finishes in the 200m and 400m. Duncan finished seventh in the 200m with a personal best of 22.39 and seventh in the 400m with 49.46.
- Solomon Ghosh, in his first meet as a Bulldog, finished seventh in the shot put with a put of 44-02.50 and tenth in the weight throw with 45-07.00.
- Reggie Reynolds posted a seventh-place finish in the weight throw with a distance of 47-09.00.
- Bryce Baglia finished in the tenth spot 800m run with a time of 1:56.75
Women's Results
- Blythe Hehmeyer broke the school's pole vault record by clearing 11-01.75, breaking Sam Engel's record of 10-11.75 set in February 2021.
- Tatiana Corso finished with two top-ten finishes. Corso finished in fourth place in the shot put with a put of 40-01.50 and a seventh-place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 48-04.75.
- Emily Hickey earned a ninth-place finish in the pole vault 10-06.00.
- Mecca Jackson set a personal record in the 60m with a time of 7.82 and PR of 25.53 in the 200m moving into second place all-time in both categories.
- Cyla Byrd earned a personal best with a time of 8.08 in the 60m, which moved her into ninth all-time.
