• In the No. 1 singles spot, Hayden Shoemake and Coy Simon played a three-set match. Coy took the first set, but Shoemake battled back, taking the second set, 6-4, forcing a third set. Coy took the third set, 0-6.
• Zvonko Bencedic, in the No. 3 singles spot, forced a three-set match against Abhi Vannemreddy. Vannemreddy took the first set, but Bencedic forced a tie-breaker second set and won 7-9. Vannemreddy defeated Bencedic 6-2 in set three.
