STATESBORO, Ga. – The Citadel mixed rifle team dropped a tough, 4641-4601, decision at Georgia Southern on Sunday. The Citadel women's team finished with a score of 4372.
James Hart paced the Bulldogs with an aggregate score of 1159 to finish fourth. He was followed closely by
Charlotte Welsh (1153),
Aiden Malcolm (1145) and
Cameron Bates (1143).
Demi Perez led the women's team with an aggregate score of 1115.
Smallbore Results
- The Bulldogs finished with a total score of 2281.
- Charlotte Welsh paced the Bulldogs with a score of 576 to finish third.
- James Hart finished fifth with a score of 570.
- Aiden Malcolm joined Hart with a score of 570.
- Demi Perez had the top score for the women's team, shooting a 543.
- Deanna Douglas was right behind Perez with a score of 538.
Air Rifle Results
- The Bulldogs shot a 2320 in air rifle.
- Hart finished second in air rifle with a score of 589.
- Cameron Bates finished fifth with a score of 579.
- Welsh was sixth with a total of 577.
- Perez again led the women's team with a score of 572.
