How it Happened
- Blair Orr got the Bulldogs off to a very quick start as he needed only 24 seconds to secure a fall in the first match of the day.
- George Rosas needed slightly more time to give the Bulldogs a 12-0 lead. After nearly securing a fall in the first period, Rosas started on top in the second period and needed only 27 seconds of the period to secure the fall.
- The Bulldogs continued to grow their leads at 149 pounds as Ethan Willis scored six points in the final two minutes for a 7-1 victory.
- Just like Willis, Thomas Snipes used a pair of takedowns and a reversal on his way to a 7-2 victory at 157 pounds.
- Ben Haubert used three takedowns in the first period to open up a lead and use it for a 12-5 victory at 174 pounds.
- Mark Chaid got bonus points for the Bulldogs at 197 pounds as he came away with a 14-4 majority decision.
- John Chesser closed out the match the same way it began, with a fall. After a takedown in the first period, Chesser started on top in the second and quickly secured four near-fall points. Just before the period ended, Chesser was able to secure the fall.
