How it Happened
- Tucker Allen and Lincoln Heck were in an exciting battle at 157 pounds. Allen got a late escape in the first round to make it 3-3 after one.
- Heck was able to ride out on top in the second period and Allen was unable to secure a takedown in the final moments. Heck added the bonus point for riding time to pick up the victory.
- John Chesser got the Bulldogs on the board in an exciting match at 285 pounds.
- Trailing 4-2 midway through the second period, Chesser secured the takedown to tie the match.
- Chesser started the third period on bottom and quickly got the escape. In the final moments of the match, Andrew shot for a double leg, but Chesser was able to fight it off to secure the victory.
- In one of the most exciting finishes of the day, Blair Orr was able to secure a 4-3 victory over Logan Ashton at 125 pounds.
- Orr took a 2-0 lead into the third period and rode out the first 90 seconds of the period on top. Ashton was able to get an escape and a quick takedown. Orr got the escape just before the buzzer to tie the match. He added the bonus point for riding time for the decision.
