49-Point Second Half Completes Bulldogs Comeback

BUIES CREEK, NC – The Citadel used a 49-point second half and some three balls down the stretch to comeback to defeat Idaho State 62-61 on Monday evening.
  • Idaho State took control early on with strong defensive plays and effective scoring.
  • As the first half progressed, turnovers plagued The Citadel, with Idaho State's quick transitions leading to points. Despite efforts from Keynan Davis and AJ Smith, The Citadel found themselves trailing by a significant margin.
  • The Citadel's Madison Durr and AJ Smith contributed with crucial plays, but they faced challenges breaking through Idaho State's defense.
  • Towards the end of the half, The Citadel showed resilience, with AJ Smith making impactful plays. However, Idaho State maintained their lead with efficient scoring and a solid defensive performance, IDSU 23, CIT 13
