THE GAME
 
The Citadel opens its' 2023-2024 season on the road at North Carolina State as the programs meet for the first time in school history.
 
ON THE RADIO
 
Every game can be heard live on 102.1-FM/1450-AM in the Charleston area. The voice of the Bulldogs, Brian Giffin, will be on the call.
 
SCOUTING NC STATE
 
The Wolfpack were picked to finish seventh out of 15 teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference Preseason Poll after finishing sixth a season ago and losing in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament to Creighton.
 
NC State returns Honorable Mention All-ACC selection DJ Burns Jr. who averaged 12.5 ppg and 4.8 rpg while shooting 56.1 percent from the field last season. The Wolfpack also added a handful of grad transfers highlighted by Raleigh native DJ Horne, who averaged 12.5 ppg, 3.4 rpg, and 2.4 apg, in 35 games for Arizona State last season.
 
IN THE PORTAL
 
The Bulldogs were active in the portal this offseason, bringing in 6'10 Vanderbilt grad Quentin Millora-Brown, who started 27 games for the Commodores a year ago, and Presbyterian product Winston Hill (6'7) to add some size in the paint.
 
YOUTH MOVEMENT
 
In addition to the two graduate transfers, Coach Conroy and his staff brought in seven freshmen to complement six returning sophomores as 13 of the 16 Bulldogs on the roster are underclassmen.
 
UP NEXT
 
The Bulldogs return to McAlister Field House on Friday, November 10th for their home opener against Boston College at 7 p.m.
