The Citadel closes out its two-game road swing as the Bulldogs take on Samford on Feb. 11 at 3 p.m. on ESPN+.

SCOUTING SAMFORD
Samford enters the weekend with an overall record of 17-9, and are tied atop the SoCon standings at 11-2 in league play. The Bulldogs are coming off a 70-69 overtime victory against Mercer Wednesday evening. Logan Dye leads a pair of players in double figures at 13.9 points per game. He is joined by Jermaine Marshall at 11.6 points per contest. Marshall is the team leader in rebounding at 6.4 per game.
HISTORY WITH SAMFORD
Saturday's game marks the 29th all-time meeting between the programs with Samford holding a 15-13 advantage in the series. Samford took the advantage in the series after winning each of the last two contests.
LAST MEETING WITH BULLDOGS
Austin Ash knocked down five three-pointers and had a team-high 19 points in a 75-63 setback inside McAlister Field House on New Year's Eve.
Stephen Clark added 16 points and
Jackson Price 12. The Citadel erased a 10-point deficit in the second half to tie the game with 4:29 remaining, but was not able to maintain the momentum down the stretch.

The Bulldogs return to McAlister Field House for the final times this season as they host Furman on Feb. 15 and Wofford on Feb. 18.
