CHARLESTON, S.C. – On a day reserved for the seniors, The Citadel saw a pair of seniors reach distinguished milestones in their Bulldogs careers in a 72-68 setback to Wofford Saturday afternoon inside McAlister Field House.

Stephen Clark eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau, while
Austin Ash connected on eight three-pointers to become the fifth player in program history with 100 made three-pointers in a season.

How it Happened
- The game started with a basket from Wofford, but The Bulldogs answered with two straight baskets from a Stephen Clark layup in the paint and a Brady Spence layup.
- Wofford would jump to an 18-13 lead with 12:36 left in the first half, but a Spence offensive rebound and putback narrowed the Terriers lead to three.
- The Bulldogs deficient fell to much as nine points as the Terriers made a three with 8:15 to give it a 26-17 advantage.
- The Citadel erased that nine-point lead from the Terriers with an Elijah Morgan three just under the five-minute mark.
- Wofford headed into the half with a four-point lead over The Citadel.
- Back-to-back scores from the Bulldogs opened up the second half with a layup from Clark and a David Maynard three-pointer, giving The Citadel a two-point lead.
- At the nine-minute mark of the second, the Terriers jumped to a six-point lead over the Dogs, quickly that would be erased by back-to-back three-pointers from Austin Ash, tying the game at 55.
- Once again, the game would be tied at 61-61 with 3:18 left, with Clark knocking down a free throw.
- Efforts from the Bulldogs would not be enough as the Terriers made their last four free throws to end the game.
