CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel mixed and women's rifle teams defeated Wofford in the regular-season finale Saturday morning inside the Inouye Marksmanship Center. The mixed team won the event with a score of 4629, followed by the women's team at 4392 and Wofford at 4378.
The Citadel took home the top four spots with
Charlotte Welsh shooting an aggregate score of 1170 to win the event.
James Hart shot an 1165 to finish second, followed by
Cameron Bates (1144) and
Aiden Malcolm (1143).
Demi Perez finished fifth overall with an aggregate score of 1133 to lead the women's team.
Smallbore Results
- The mixed team won the event with a score of 2306.
- The women's team placed second with a score of 2174
- Charlotte Welsh took the top spot with a score of 586.
- The Bulldogs took all five of the top spots as James Hart (583) was second, Carson Wood (570) third, Cameron Bates (567) fourth and Aiden Malcolm (563) fifth.
- Demi Perez led the women's team with a score of 557 to finish sixth.
- Michaela Martin finished seventh with a score of 553.
Air Rifle Results
- The mixed team shot a 2323 to take the top spot in air rifle.
- The women's team placed third with a score of 2218.
- Welsh won the event with a score of 584.
- Hart was second with a score of 582, followed by Malcolm (580) in third and Bates (577) fourth.
- Perez was fifth to lead the women's team with a score of 576.
- Martin finished in sixth place with a score of 569.
