Bulldogs Close Regular Season at Mercer

GAME NOTES

THE GAME
The Citadel closes out the regular season as it travels to Macon, Georgia to take on Mercer on Feb. 25 at 2 p.m.

ON THE RADIO
All games this season can be heard live on 102.1-FM/1450-AM in the Charleston area. The voice of the Bulldogs, Luke Mauro, will be on the call.

SCOUTING MERCER
Mercer enters the regular-season finale with an overall record of 12-18 and a 5-12 mark in SoCon play. The Bears are coming off a 70-67 setback at Furman on Wednesday. Jalyn McCreary leads a pair of Bears in double figures at 15.3 points per game. He also leads the team with 5.5 boards per contest.

HISTORY WITH MERCER
Saturday's game is the 31st all-time meeting between the two teams with Mercer holding a 22-8 advantage in the series. Five of the Bulldogs eight wins have come in Macon.

LAST MEETING WITH BEARS
Stephen Clark led four players in double figures with 18 points, but it was the Bears who walked out McAlister Field House with a 74-65 victory. Jalyn McCreary lead Mercer with 26 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.

RUN IT BACK
The Citadel and Mercer will run it back in the opening round of the Ingles Southern Conference Tournament on March 3 at 5 p.m. at the Harrah's Cherokee Center in Asheville, North Carolina. The winner of Saturday's game will be the No. 8 seed, while the loser will be the No. 9 seed.
