The Citadel closes out its four game homestand as it welcomes UNCG to McAlister Field House on Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
ON THE RADIO
All games this season can be heard live on 102.1-FM/1450-AM in the Charleston area. The voice of the Bulldogs, Luke Mauro, will be on the call.
SCOUTING UNCG
UNCG enters the game with an overall record of 15-9 and a 9-2 mark in conference action. The Spartans are coming off a 69-49 road victory at Mercer Thursday evening. Keyshaun Langley leads three Spartans in double figures at 13.3 points per game. Keondre Kennedy averages 12.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Mohammed Abdulsalam leads the team in rebounding at 6.6 boards per contest.
HISTORY WITH UNCG
Saturday's game marks the 46th all-time meeting between the two programs with the Spartans holding a 35-10 advantage in the series. The Citadel won last year's meeting in Charleston, putting an end to a 16-game losing skid that dated back to 2015.
LAST MEETING WITH SPARTANS
The Citadel put four players in double figures, including a team-high 14 points from
Madison Durr in a 70-60 setback at UNCG on Jan. 19.
Stephen Clark added 13 points, while
Austin Ash chipped in 11 and
Jackson Price 10.
Clark Scoring and Dishing
Stephen Clark was hitting field goals and setting up his teammates against VMI. The forward scored 24 points and dished out eight assists. He also collected eight rebounds. It marked the second time this season Clark finished with eight assists.
