THE GAME
The Citadel hits the road for the first time during the month of February as the Bulldogs travel to face Chattanooga on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
ON THE RADIO
All games this season can be heard live on 102.1-FM/1450-AM in the Charleston area. The voice of the Bulldogs, Luke Mauro, will be on the call.
SCOUTING CHATTANOOGA
Chattanooga enters the contest with an overall record of 12-13, and a 4-8 mark in conference play. The Mocs are coming off an 83-68 loss at Western Carolina on Saturday. UTC has been without leading scorer and rebounder Jake Stephens for the past five games, going just 1-4 over that stretch. Jamal Johnson has started all 25 games and is averaging 12.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
HISTORY WITH CHATTANOOGA
Wednesday's game marks the 92nd all-time meeting between the two schools on the hardwood with the Mocs holding a 71-20 advantage in the series. The Citadel has won just six games in Chattanooga, and are looking for their first season sweep of the Mocs since the 1978-79 season.
LAST MEETING WITH MOCS
Austin Ash led four players in double figures with 16 points in a 76-68 victory in the SoCon opener on Dec. 29.
AJ Smith went 6-of-6 from the floor for 13 points, while
Stephen Clark and
Madison Durr each scored 11 points.
MAYNARD STEPS UP
On a day where the offense needed a spark, graduate
David Maynard stepped up and scored a career-high 19 points against UNCG. Maynard went 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. The 19 points best his old career mark of 17 set at Mercer on Feb. 23, 2022.

The Bulldogs play their second road game of the week as they travel to face Samford on Feb. 11 at 3 p.m.
