Three Bulldogs in Double Figures at Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Citadel put three players in double figures, but it was not enough as the Bulldogs fell 82-63 Wednesday evening inside McKenzie Arena.

How it Happened
  • The Bulldogs got on the board first as Stephen Clark was able to score down low just 18 seconds into the game.
  • The Bulldogs opening basket was followed by a 13-0 run from the Mocs over the next 4:59.
  • Austin Ash scored six-straight points to spark a 10-0 run to pull the Dogs back within one with just under 12 minutes left in the first half.
  • The Bulldogs would regain the lead at the 7:02 mark on a layup from Tony Carpio.
  • The teams would exchange baskets over the final portion of the half. AJ Smith would score less than a minute to go in the half to tie the game, but the Mocs were able to hit a three-pointer just before the half expired.
  • The Mocs were able to push the advantage to double digits as they opened the second half with a 27-7 run.
  • The Citadel would get as close as 16 points on a three-pointer from Stephen Clark, but would not be able to get any closer.
