Tennis Celebrates Senior Day

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel tennis team suffered a 2-5 loss in a Southern Conference matchup against Mercer on Monday afternoon at the Earle Tennis Center.

  • Mercer started the match off by securing the doubles point.
  • Hayden Shoemake dominated in the No. 1 singles spot with a two-set victory over Mariano Argote.
  • Shoemake has a 3-3 conference record in singles.
  • Sebastian Kamieniecki defeated Marceau Foulihoux in three sets. Foulihoux took the first set against Kamieniecki and took the following two sets, 7-5, 10-7.
  • Kamieniecki leads the Bulldogs with a 4-1 conference record.
