Ruffin Competes in the East First Round
 
JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – Ali Ruffin competed in the javelin in the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field East First Round.

Ruffin competed in a field of 48 throwers from all over the country. She finished in the 30th position with a toss of 145-1.
 
Ruffin ended her impressive outdoor season as a Bulldog with a third-place finish in the javelin at the 2023 Southern Conference Outdoor Championships, a broken school record, and multiple top-ten finishes.
 
The Citadel's Solomon Ghosh will compete in the men's discus throw at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in the East First Round.
