SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference announced 38 The Citadel cadet-athletes earned a position on the league's Fall 2023 All-Academic Team, per a release from the SoCon office Thursday.

To be eligible for the academic all-conference team, student-athletes must carry at least a 3.3 cumulative grade-point average at the conclusion of the fall semester and were required to compete in at least one-half of their teams' competitions during the recently concluded campaign. In addition, the student-athletes must have successfully completed at least three semesters at their institutions, making true freshmen and first-year transfers ineligible for inclusion.

Four cadet-athletes maintained perfect 4.0 cumulative GPAs, including football's Elijah Bass and Cole England along with women's soccer's Grace Duncan and Caroline Weeran.

For the Bulldogs, football led the way with 21 selections followed by seven for women's soccer, four for both volleyball and women's cross country and two for men's cross country.
