Basketball Set for Trailblazers on Thursday

GAME NOTES
 
LAST TIME OUT vs STETSON (11.11.24)
  • Keynan Davis hit three 3-pointers in the first 4:15 of play to give The Citadel an early 18-9 edge.
  • Brody Fox's layup at the 9:55 mark doubled up Stetson 24-12.
  • Christian Moore's bucket and-1 gave the Bulldogs their largest lead of the half, 32-18, before The Citadel went into the locker room ahead 34-22.
  • Stetson came out of the half on a 14-6 run to cut the deficit to four, 40-36, at the under-16 timeout.
  • The Citadel answered with a Paxton Davidson 3-pointer before Davis and Fox each hit from beyond the arc to stretch the margin back to double-digits, 53-40.
  • The Hatters could never get the deficit back to single digits with Cam Glover's late 3-pointer capping off a 74-52 victory.
IF THIS, THEN THAT...
  • If the Bulldogs win, they would start the year 3-0 at home for the second time in four years.
  • If The Citadel loses to North Greenville, it falls to the Trailblazers for the first time.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
  • For NGU, #11 Savion Brown paces the offense with 17.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg and 5-of-10 from 3PT range.
  • For the Bulldogs, #10 Brody Fox leads the team in scoring with 15.7 ppg while also grabbing 5.5 rpg and 3.0 steals.
FEELS GOOD TO BE HOME
  • The Bulldogs will play their second, third and fourth straight home games this week as part of an eight-game homestand that ends on December 12th.
COACHES SHOW
  • The first men's basketball coaches show will take place on Monday, December 9th at 7 p.m. at Dunleavy's Pub (2213 Middle St # B, Sullivan's Island, SC).
