GAME NOTES

LAST TIME OUT vs NGU (11.15.24)

• An NGU three cut The Citadel's early lead to just two, 16-14.
• The Bulldogs answered with a 13-2 run, that included a pair of Adebisi 3-pointers, to go up 29-16 after a John Adams layup with 4:10 left until halftime.
• Eze Wali's bucket at the buzzer had The Citadel up 14, 37-23, at the intermission.
• Colby McAllister's second 3-ball of the game gave the home team their largest lead of the game at that point, 40-23, less than two minutes into the second half.
• A stretch of nine straight Bulldog points from Fox held the margin at 18, 58-40, with just under 10 minutes left.
• Josh Davis' corner three with 1:31 to go put an exclamation point on the 79-54 victory.
IF THIS, THEN THAT...
  • If the Bulldogs win, they would be start 4-1 for the first time in four years, 8-0 in 2020-21.
  • If The Citadel loses, NC A&T would beat the Bulldogs for the second time since 2017, 92-73.
PLAYERS TO WATCH

  • For the Bulldogs, #10 Brody Fox leads the team in scoring at 17.5 ppg after registering his first 20-point game as a Bulldog (23) vs NGU.
KEYS FOR SUCCESS
  • The Bulldogs are 3-0 this season when they win both the rebounding and turnover battle.
FEELS GOOD TO BE HOME
  • The Bulldogs will play their second, third and fourth straight home games this week as part of an eight-game homestand that ends on December 12th.
RETURNING THE FAVOR?
