CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Citadel basketball team stayed within single digits of the Boston College Eagles for most of night but were unable to come all the way back from a late first half deficit, losing 69-60 on Monday night.

First Half:

• After trailing 18-11, Cam Glover's driving layup brought CIT within two, 23-21, with five minutes left in the first half.
• BC answered with a 10-0 run to take its largest lead of the game at 35-25.
• With .01 seconds remaining. Eze Wali pulled up for a 3-pointer from the logo to keep CIT within single digits at the break.

Second Half:

• BC began the second half with a quick 6-0 run, to force a CIT timeout 1:32 into the half.
• A pair of free throws stretched the Eagles lead to 48-32, but a Fox three-ball followed by a Kam Roberts step back, cut the deficit to 11, 50-38, at the under-12 timeout.
• CIT hung around at 63-54 after a 3-pointer by Keynan Davis with 5:01 to go before getting it as close as seven, 67-60, with 46 seconds remaining but BC prevailed 69-60.
