LAST TIME OUT vs CAMPBELL (12.12.24)
  • The second of Dante Kearse's two first half threes put The Citadel up 14-12 early.
  • A third opportunity on the offensive glass led to a Campbell 28-23 edge before a pair of free throws gave it the largest lead to that point, 30-23, with 5:32 remaining.
  • Back-to-back layups by Sola Adebisi cut the margin to three, 34-31, but the Camels answered the Bulldogs' proficient end to the half to hold a six-point advantage.
  • A Camels' 11-0 run pushed the difference to 15, 47-33, two and change into the second half.
  • The Bulldogs trimmed the margin to 49-41 but the Camels responded with a three before extending the edge to 16, 58-42, at the 11:49 mark.
  • A 7-0 Campbell run made it a 77-49 affair with 5:39 to go before the Camels closed out an 86-58 win.
IF THIS, THEN THAT...
  • If the Bulldogs beat the Commodores, they would defeat Vanderbilt for the first time in program history (0-5).
  • If The Citadel loses to Central Arkansas, it would fall to .500 for the first time since being 1-1.
