CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Citadel football program released the program's 2024 schedule Monday afternoon, compiling a vigorous four-game non-conference lineup along with the usual eight-contest Southern Conference slate. The Bulldogs open the season against local rival Charleston Southern on Aug. 31 before shifting focus to SoCon competition on Sept. 21, heading south to battle Mercer in Macon, Ga.

Following the campaign kickoff against the Buccaneers, The Citadel tackles the team's first pair of home matchups over the next two weekends, hosting South Carolina State on Sept. 7 for Hall of Fame Weekend before squaring off with North Greenville on Sept. 14 for Military Appreciation. The Bulldogs wrap up their non-conference slate in the season finale on Nov. 23, trekking upstate for a clash at ACC adversary Clemson.

"We're extremely proud of the fact that our entire non-conference schedule stays right here in the state of South Carolina," head coach Maurice Drayton said. "The opportunity to play on our home turf and in front of our incredible fanbase as often as possible means a great deal to this program, especially against opponents with whom we can develop and maintain local and in-state rivalries. And then we're right back in the thick of things with the SoCon. This is a tough league, just an exceptionally competitive conference with lot of parity, and we aim to compete and make our mark every Saturday."

After launching the Southern Conference schedule on Sept. 21 at Mercer, The Citadel returns to the friendly confines of Johnson Hagood Stadium to play host to ETSU on Sept. 28 for Parents' Weekend along with in-state rival Furman on Oct. 5 before heading north for a two-game Appalachian road stretch, initially battling Western Carolina on Oct. 12 before challenging rival VMI for the Silver Shako on Oct. 19 in the Military Classic of the South. The Bulldogs then proceed home for a Senior Day matchup against Samford on Oct. 26.

Following a bye week to kick off the month of November, The Citadel appropriately closes out the program's home slate with a Homecoming clash against Chattanooga on Nov. 9. Finally, the Bulldogs conclude their SoCon schedule with a mid-November dogfight at Wofford, going paw-to-paw with the Terriers on Nov. 16.

Season Tickets

Season tickets and renewals for The Citadel's 2024 football season are officially available as of Feb. 5, 2024.

Current season ticket holders will receive additional renewal information via email. Fans will again have the option to renew their season tickets online by clicking HERE. They may also renew their season tickets in person by visiting the Athletics Ticket Office inside McAlister Field House or via phone by calling 843-953-3647. All tickets are digital and will be able to download into your mobile wallet. There is also an option to transfer tickets via your online account through TicketReturn.com.

New season tickets are ON SALE NOW with Mini plans set to become available on July 8. Fans who are purchasing new season tickets for the 2024 season will be able to pick their seat location in early May through early June. Mini-plan seats will be assigned in July.

As per the last three years, season ticket package pricing remains the same. Full season tickets include all six home games, plus a "Bring a Friend" single game ticket voucher. Season ticket holders wishing to use the "Bring a Friend" voucher can do so by calling the ticket office at 843-953-3647 or emailing ticketoffice@citadel.edu. Furthermore, packages are exchangeable for additional tickets to other football games or to any basketball or baseball game in the 2024-2025 Athletic Calendar year.

Fans are encouraged to renew their season tickets early. Fans who renew their season tickets will be entered into weekly drawings. A new winner will be selected each week (Feb. 5 - March 15).

• Week 2 – Four (4) Club Passes for any game
• Week 3 – Four (4) Altman Center passes for any game
• Week 4 – Four (4) Pregame Sideline Passes for any game
• Week 5 – Four (4) Tickets to The Citadel vs. South Carolina baseball game on April 16
• Week 6 -- $50 gift card to Hall's Chophouse

• April 15 – Season Ticket Renewal Deadline
• May 1 – Season tickets will be dropped if a renewal has not been received
• July 29 – TCBF and Season Ticket Holder single game presale
• Early August – Parking pick (location TBD)
• Early August – Parking not yet picked up will be mailed
• August 9 – Single game tickets on sale to the public
