MARION, Ala. - The Citadel men's tennis began a five-match road trip with a sweep of junior college foe, Marion Military Institute, by a pair of 9-0 scores on Wednesday.
MATCH ONE:Â THE CITADEL 9, MMI 0
- CIT swept the doubles matches, surrendering just two games at worst to win all three doubles points.
- The Bulldogs won in straight sets, all by 6-0 margins, at all the singles matches, except for dropping one game at 5-singles.
MATCH TWO:Â THE CITADEL 9, MMI 0
- CIT once again won all three doubles matches, the closest coming at 3-doubles by an 8-4 margin.
- Ted Bagwell cruised in his 3-singles match 6-0, 6-0.
- Tucker Hendrix completed a 4-0 day for the Bulldogs, winning 6-1, 6-0, at 6-singles.

The Citadel will enjoy a day off in Alabama before playing a pair on Friday, beginning with Jacksonville State at 9 am before driving to Atlanta to play #32 Georgia Tech at 5 pm.
