CHATTANOOGA, TENN. - The Citadel men's tennis team won the doubles point but was unable to carry the momentum as the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Mocs sweep singles play to win 6-1 in a Sunday SoCon match.

• Bulldogs responded from dropping the 2-doubles match as Hayden Shoemake/Sebastian Kamieniecki won 6-4 at the top flight.
• Lucas Robins/Noah Van Dyke secured the point for the Bulldogs with another 6-4 victory, this time at 3-doubles.
• The Bulldogs fell in straight sets at 4, 5, and 6 singles, respectively as the Mocs pulled to within one point of clinching the match at 3-1.
• UTC would do just that by winning 6-3, 6-3 at 3-singles to clinch the match before sweeping singles with wins at 1 and 2 to earn a 6-1 victory.
