Bulldogs Wrap Up Competition at the Lowcountry Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Citadel women's golf team closed out the Lowcountry Intercollegiate with a 16th-place overall team finish, posting a strong performance across the 54-hole stroke-play event all day Friday, March 15 through Sunday, March 17 at the Moss Creek Golf Club.
ETSU secured the tournament victory behind a total 902 while Richmond (907), USC Upstate (925), Western Carolina (927) and Boston University (928) rounded out the top five. The Bulldogs slotted in at 16th behind a final 1028.
Megan Ikeda paced the squad with a 24-over showing -- good for a tie at 45th individually -- while Naomi Huang (+35, t-75th), Sofia Vargas (+51, 87th) and Maggie Parmer (+54, 89th) each contributed to the Bulldogs' final line.

The Citadel closes out the 2023-24 regular season later this month at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate, a three-day event hosted by Appalachian State, trekking north to Mimosa, N.C., in final preparation ahead of mid-April's Southern Conference Championship.
