MANHEIM, Pa. -- The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced the organization's NCAA Division I Scholar All-America awards late last week, distinguishing five The Citadel cadet-athletes -- graduate student Jeff Boyd, senior Ben Stemmet and the redshirt freshmen trio of Patrick Brophy, Carson DesRosier and Thomas Snipes -- to the acclaimed honor roll. The five Bulldogs join 335 fellow student-athletes from 77 peer DI institutions as "exceptional student-athletes who demonstrate excellence in academics and athletics."
