CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's tennis team closes out its' 2023-24 home slate when it hosts the College of Charleston for senior day on Saturday at 1 pm.

Senior day festivities will begin before the match at approximately 12:45 pm.

• The Citadel won the doubles point but dropped a barnburner to the undefeated SoCon regular season champion, East Tennessee State University Bucs, 3-4 on Wednesday afternoon.

PLAYERS OF NOTE

• Hayden Shoemake leads The Citadel with 14 singles wins this year, as Noah Van Dyke and Teo Cariov are close behind at 13 and 12 wins, respectively.
• All three of the Bulldogs main doubles pairings have at least 12 wins this season with Sebastian Kaminiecki / Shoemake pacing the trio with 15.

COMMON OPPONENTS

• The College (3-2) and The Citadel (2-3) have played five of the same opponents this year with the only different outcome being the Cougars 4-3 win over Davidson.

SENIOR DAY RECOGNITION

• Before the match, the tennis program along with The Citadel athletic department will take a few minutes to recognize the Bulldogs five seniors (Will Bush, Kamieniecki, Shoemake, Isaac Nawabi, Lucas Robins) and lone graduate student, Cariov, for their contributions to the program.
