Box Score  GREENVILLE, SC. - The Citadel men's tennis team fell to the Furman Paladins 1-6 on Friday afternoon.

FURMAN 6, THE CITADEL 1

• FUR won the first two doubles matches to secure the point, but Hayden Shoemake / Sebastian Kamieniecki used a tiebreak to win 7-6 (8-6) at the top flight.
• Kamieniecki was doubled up 3-6, 3-6 at 2-singles before Shoemake lost 1-and-2 to the Paladins top singles player.
• Noah Van Dyke dropped a heartbreaking first set 6-7 (2-7) as his 4-singles opponent rolled to a 6-1 second set win to clinch the match for Furman, 4-0.
• Lucas Robins earned the Bulldogs lone singles win of the day at 5-singles, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.
