Bulldogs Set for Monday Night Matchup with Bellarmine

Scouting The Citadel

The Citadel (2–3) enters Monday's contest following a 70–57 victory over North Greenville. Through five games, the Bulldogs are averaging 80.0 points per game while shooting 45.0 percent from the field and 34.4 percent from three-point range.

Junior guard Christian Moore leads the scoring effort with 12.6 points per game and a team-high 13 made threes at a 46.4 percent clip. Sophomore guard Marcos Gonzales adds 11.2 points per game on a highly efficient 67.7 percent from the floor, highlighted by his 20-point performance on Wednesday.

Senior guard Keynan Davis contributes 9.8 points and paces the team with 13 assists, while senior forward Sola Adebisi adds 9.6 points and a team-best 6.0 rebounds per outing. Senior guard Braxton Williams provides additional backcourt production with 9.0 points per game.

The Bulldogs continue to emphasize ball security, averaging just 8.6 turnovers per game, and hold a +1.6 turnover margin. Defensively, they are limiting opponents to 33.3 percent from three and averaging 5.6 steals and 2.4 blocks per contest.

Scouting Bellarmine

Bellarmine (1–4) enters Monday's matchup averaging 77.8 points per game while shooting 49.6 percent from the field. The Knights are led by sophomore forward Jack Karasinski, who posts 20.3 points per game on 57.1 percent shooting.

Graduate guard Brian Waddell adds 15.2 points per contest and is shooting 60.9 percent from the floor and 55.6 percent from three. Junior guard Michael Wilson Jr. contributes 11.0 points per game, and sophomore guard Kenyon Goodin adds 10.5 points along with a team-high 12 assists.

As a team, Bellarmine shoots 78.1 percent at the free-throw line and averages 8.6 steals per game. Opponents are shooting 41.4 percent from three and hold a +5.4 rebounding margin through the first five games.
