Scouting The Citadel
The Citadel (2–4) enters Wednesday's contest following its matchup against Bellarmine, highlighted by a strong second-half effort, and a 70–57 win over North Greenville earlier in the homestand. Through six games, the Bulldogs are averaging 76.3 points per game while shooting 43.7 percent from the field and 31.5 percent from beyond the arc.

Junior guard Christian Moore leads the scoring effort with 10.7 points per game and a team-best 13 made three-pointers at a 40.6 percent clip. Senior forward Sola Adebisi adds 9.6 points and a team-high 6.0 rebounds, while shooting an efficient 63.0 percent from the floor.

Sophomore guard Marcos Gonzales contributes 9.3 points per game on 63.6 percent shooting, including a 20-point performance earlier in the homestand. Senior guard Keynan Davis adds 9.2 points and leads the team with 13 assists, while senior guard Braxton Williams provides 8.8 points per outing.

The Bulldogs continue to take care of the ball, averaging just 9.2 turnovers per game and holding a positive turnover margin (+0.5). Defensively, the team is allowing opponents to shoot 36.0 percent from three while averaging 5.2 steals and 2.3 blocks per contest. 

Scouting Houston Christian
Houston Christian (3–2) enters Wednesday's matchup averaging 72.0 points per game while shooting 45.4 percent from the floor and 28.8 percent from three-point range. 

Guard Kylin Green leads the Huskies with 13.8 points per game, shooting 52.9 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from deep. Guard Trent Johnson adds 11.8 points and contributes a team-best 4.4 rebounds per game, while connecting on 42.3 percent of his three-point attempts.

Forward Demarco Bethea provides 8.0 points and 3.8 rebounds, and guard D'Aundre Samuels adds 7.2 points while shooting 36.4 percent from three. Forward Nehikhare Igiehon gives the Huskies a strong interior presence at 59.1 percent from the field.

As a team, HCU averages 15.2 assists, 9.4 steals, and 5.0 blocks per contest, while holding opponents to 31.8 rebounds per game. The Huskies enter the matchup coming off a narrow 74–69 loss to Bellarmine.
