Bulldogs Set for Sunday Matchup in Asheville Against Presbyterian

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Citadel men's basketball team heads to Asheville on Sunday afternoon for a neutral-site matchup against Presbyterian at the Harrah's Cherokee Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. on ESPN+, with radio coverage available locally on 102.1 FM The City.

Scouting The Citadel
The Citadel (2–5) enters Sunday's matchup after facing North Greenville, Bellarmine, and Houston Christian, earning a 70–57 win over the Trailblazers during the homestand. Through seven games, the Bulldogs are averaging 74.7 points per game, shooting 43.3 percent from the field and 32.4 percent from three-point range.

Junior guard Christian Moore leads the offensive effort with 11.6 points per game and a team-high 16 made threes at a 43.2 percent clip. Senior guard Braxton Williams adds 10.4 points, while senior forward Sola Adebisi provides 9.6 points and a team-best 6.0 rebounds, shooting an efficient 63.0 percent from the floor.

Sophomore guard Marcos Gonzales contributes 8.0 points per game on 60.0 percent shooting, senior guard Keynan Davis adds 9.0 points and leads the team with 16 assists, and senior forward Eze Wali supplies 8.1 points and 4.0 rebounds.

The Bulldogs average just 9.1 turnovers per game, one of the lowest marks in the region. The Citadel also contributes 35.1 rebounds, 5.1 steals, and 2.1 blocks per contest as part of a steady defensive and rebounding presence.

Scouting Presbyterian
Presbyterian (4–5) enters Sunday's matchup coming off a dominant 93–50 win over Columbia International. Through nine games, the Blue Hose are averaging 67.8 points per game, shooting 44.5 percent from the field and 26.9 percent from three. 

Forward Jonah Pierce leads Presbyterian with 14.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game on 59.3 percent shooting. Guard Carl Parrish contributes 12.4 points, including 17 made threes, while forward Jaylen Peterson adds 7.3 points and 7.7 rebounds, shooting 64.4 percent from the floor.

Guard Triston Wilson averages 7.0 points and a team-leading 22 assists, and guard Erik Taylor adds 6.2 points and 20 assists across six appearances. Forward Iverson King contributes 6.2 points and 3.1 rebounds off the bench.

As a team, Presbyterian averages 13.9 assists, 6.2 steals, and 3.8 blocks per contest while holding opponents to 30.9 rebounds per game. The Blue Hose enter the matchup with a +3.8 rebounding margin and have collected 56 steals through nine games.
