As a team, the Bulldogs shot 45.6 percent (36-of-79) from the floor and 35.6 percent (21-of-59) from three-point range while outrebounding the Flying Fleet 50–26. The Citadel totaled 24 assists, 12 steals, and 32 points off turnovers, with 14 players entering the scoring column in the season-opening win. Keynan Davis added 11 points and six assists, while Logan Applegate and Marcos Gonzales each contributed double-digit scoring off the bench.
