It will also serve as The Southern Conference opener with the Furman Paladins coming to town.

- Last weekend, Nick Stroumpis and Graham Hardin picked up their first singles wins of their collegiate careers at 4 and 6-singles respectively against Lees-McRae.
- Anthony Osipov earned the first singles win of his collegiate career, winning both of his singles matches versus the Bobcats and USC Sumter.

- Furman also played #15 South Carolina, falling by an identical 7-0 score, just as The Citadel did earlier this season.

- The doubles point may be a tightly contested one as both The Citadel (3-for-16, .158%) and Furman (1-for-6, .143) have struggled in the format to this point.
