Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel men's tennis team were bested by the Blue Hens of Delaware in their first match of the day, 0-7.

The Bulldogs ran into an Ouachita Baptist University squad that sported ranked players in the afternoon session, as The Citadel dropped another 0-7 affair.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORES

• Van Dyke/Hendrix played tough at 1-doubles, falling 4-6 to Delaware's top duo.
• The Citadel competed well at the top two singles flights as Noah Van Dyke and Ted Bagwell fell by identical 4-6, 4-6 scores.
• Against OBU, The Citadel dropped the doubles point as they faced off with the #5 ranked Division II doubles team in the top flight, but the Bulldogs fought till the end of the session as Diego Ladino / Bagwell prevailed at 2-doubles, 6-4.
• Van Dyke battled with the ITA #2 ranked Division II singles player in Phil Exner before losing 4-6, 4-6.

FAMILY TIES

• Former Bulldog Lucas Robins' (Class of 2024) younger brother, Mason played at 2-doubles and 6-singles for the Blue Hens, winning twice against his brother's alma mater.
• Another Class of 2024 alum, Hayden Shoemake's dad, Jake, returned to his alma mater in July of 2024 to lead the men's tennis program for Ouachita Baptist.
