DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Citadel basketball assistant coach Del Harris was one of a select group of men's college assistant coaches nationwide chosen to participate in the Coaches Leadership Program at the Jay Bilas Skills Camp.
Coach Harris, beginning his second season with The Citadel in 2025-26, was one of 12 Division I men's assistant coaches who participated in the program which included coaches from Power 4 programs such as Cincinnati, Syracuse and Virginia.
The Coaches Leadership Program (CLP) afforded the opportunity for the participants to experience leadership training ,mock interviews and the opportunity to learn from other programs to share ideas.
"There was a lot of wisdom and knowledge shared during the whole leadership experience," said Coach Harris. "I am grateful for Coach Conroy allowing me the opportunity to grow, learn and improve our craft."
The coaches also had the opportunity to hear from a list of guest speakers which included former head coaches and current ESPN College Basketball analyst Seth Greenberg, Fran Fraschilla, Bob McKillop, Kevin Eastman and Jay Bilas.
