Bulldogs Claim Fifth in Campaign Tee Off at Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Citadel women's golf program officially launched the 2025-26 season with a strong performance at the Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational, posting fifth overall via a final 107-over mark across the 36-hole tournament at the King & Prince Golf Club.
"It was a solid tournament overall. We saw some positive moments and individual highlights, but as a team, we know we have more in us," head coach Lori Bonacci said. "There's definitely room for improvement, and we'll use this tournament to grow as we head into the next event."
Individually, Chaela Barnett paced the pack with a 24-over showing, earning 25th on the individual leaderboard, while Maggie Parmer slotted in just behind at 28th via a 25-over finish. Naomi Huang (29-over), Sofia Vargas (33-over) and Madyson Riley (37-over) rounded out The Citadel crew, notching 31st, 34th and 39th, respectively.
