This year marks the 91st edition of the men's championship and the 39th edition of the women's championship. VMI is hosting the indoor championships for the ninth consecutive season.

Head coach Kris Kut said the Bulldogs enter the meet with a young roster that has continued to develop throughout the indoor season.

"This is a young team, and we're excited to see how they continue to grow and compete this weekend," Kut said. "Throughout the indoor season, we've faced some challenges, but this group has shown grit and resilience. They've stepped up when it mattered and embraced the opportunity to lead."

Kut said the Bulldogs are confident in the individuals competing and focused on finding ways to score valuable points.

Men's Entries
  • Jack O'Cain enters the meet holding the freshman record in the pole vault and ranking second all-time in school history.
  • Jordan Chestnut, the school record holder in the triple jump and an all-conference performer as a freshman, will compete in the triple jump and high jump, with additional scoring potential in the long jump.
  • Ridge Dowe, an all-conference performer in the weight throw last season, will look to improve upon his current fifth-best mark in school history.
  • Gage Herring holds the freshman record in the 60-meter hurdles and ranks third all-time in program history entering the championship meet.
Women's Entries
  • Alliann Johnson ranks second all-time in school history in the 60 meters and fifth all-time in the 200 meters. She is entered in both events.
  • Jadan Dean will compete in the weight throw and shot put and has the opportunity to score in both events.
Competition begins Friday and concludes Saturday in Lexington. Day two of the meet will stream live on ESPN+ beginning at 11:30 a.m. Eastern.
