Scouting The Citadel
The Citadel enters Saturday's contest following a 72–51 road loss at Furman on Wednesday night.
Braxton Williams paced the Bulldogs with 25 points, marking his ninth 20-point performance of the season.
In the first meeting on Jan. 3 in Charleston, The Citadel dropped a 95–86 decision to Wofford at McAlister Field House.
Christian Moore and Williams scored 20 points apiece, while
Carter Kingsbury added 16 points and six assists. The Bulldogs shot 53.6 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from three-point range, but Wofford connected on 18 three-pointers and went 13-of-17 from the free-throw line in the second half to pull away.
Through 30 games, Williams leads The Citadel in scoring at 14.3 points per game while shooting 39.4 percent from the field. Moore averages 11.4 points per contest and leads the team with 59 made three-pointers, converting 38.8 percent from beyond the arc.
Sola Adebisi averages 5.9 rebounds per game and leads the Bulldogs in both blocks (30) and steals (31), while
Eze Wali paces the team with 68 assists.
As a team, The Citadel is averaging 68.8 points per game while shooting 41.3 percent from the field and 32.1 percent from three-point range. The Bulldogs average 9.4 made three-pointers per contest.
Scouting Wofford
Wofford enters Saturday's matchup following a 72–69 road win at ETSU on Feb. 25.
The Terriers are averaging 78.6 points per game this season while shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 34.7 percent from three-point range.
Kahmare Holmes leads Wofford with 19.1 points per game. Nils Machowski adds 16.6 points per contest, and Cayden Vasko averages 10.6 points while leading the team with 119 assists.
