STATESBORO, GA. – The Citadel's mixed rifle and women's teams concluded the 2026 Southern Conference Championships on Saturday afternoon. The mixed rifle team scored 4,539, while the women's team finished with 4,424. Braden Michalak placed eighth overall with a score of 1,165.
 
On the first day of the championships, the mixed rifle team finished with a total score of 2,221, and the women's team scored 2,175 in the Smallbore.
 
Braden Michalak achieved the top score for the Bulldogs with 576 points. Ella Derrick scored 567 to lead the women's team.
 
On the second day, the mixed rifle team posted a total score of 2,317, and the women's team finished with 2,249.
 
Michalak finished ninth in the Air Rifle standings with a score of 589, and Derrick finished with 583.
