LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Citadel tennis team returns to action this weekend with three road matches in the state of Georgia. The Bulldogs will face Georgia Gwinnett on Friday before taking on Emory-Oxford and Georgia Tech on Saturday.

The Bulldogs enter the weekend after falling to Furman, 6-1, in Southern Conference play on Tuesday. The Citadel split its last two matches after earning a 6-1 win over Hofstra on March 18 and now heads back on the road for three non-conference contests across two days.

Georgia Gwinnett enters Friday's match unbeaten at 13-0 this season. The Grizzlies have recorded wins over Cumberlands, Southeastern, Tennessee Wesleyan, Lander and Coastal Georgia.

Emory-Oxford heads into Saturday morning's matchup with an 0-6 record. The Eagles are scheduled to play Gadsden State on Friday before hosting The Citadel the following morning.

Georgia Tech brings a 10-8 overall record into the weekend and has picked up recent ACC wins over Miami and Duke. The Yellow Jackets have also earned victories this spring against Liberty, Wofford, Georgia Southern, Tennessee Tech, Samford, Jacksonville State and Texas Tech.
