ANNISTON, Ala. – Three members of The Citadel rifle team qualified to compete in the National Junior Olympics from April 8-13 in Anniston, Ala.
 
Event Information
 
Braden Michalak and Theron Hull-Walton will represent The Citadel's mixed rifle team. Michalak will compete in both the Smallbore and Air Rifle events, while Hull-Walton will participate only in the Air Rifle event.
 
Meghan Mix from The Citadel women's rifle team will compete in both the Smallbore and Air Rifle events.
 
This is the second year in a row that all three members qualified to compete in the Junior Olympics. Michalak was the top finisher for The Citadel, finishing eighth overall in the Air Rifle event with a total score of 1,238.7.
 
Hull-Walton scored 1,205.5, while Mix scored 1,219.7 in the Air Rifle event.
